Hi Eric, what were the results of your MRI?
Dave Scott has me doing inverted hand dumbell raises between bench sets. I hold the dumbell, like maybe an 8 pounder, with my thumb pointed down so the dumbell shaft is perpendicular to the floor and my arm is 45 degrees out from my body, slowly raising the bumbell to shoulder height. That works the tiny muscles that comprise the rotator cuff and strenthens them. If you don't need surgery, give that a try.
hope that works
Brock

: I was wondering if any of you guys/gals have experienced shoulder
: pain while benching. Recently when attempting a decline bench I
: felt extreme pain in the front of my shoulders. It felt like a
: knives being pushed into both shoulders as lifting. I haven't
: attempted to bench since, well I have but just testing the pain.
: I use good technique (no bouncing). I go for an MRI on Tuesday
: so I'm just trying to hold out until then but 3 weeks have gone
: by since I did a chest workout and I miss the feel of a good
: chest pump. Any help would be great and advice from more
: experienced lifters.
: Thanks
: Eric
