I guess I know once again how it feels to be isolated......we had a big ice and freezing rain storm blow in over the weekend and just got back electricity and internet service last night and still no phone..........It was very strange that so many in our state were affected...out of the 3 million in our state 1.2 million had no electricty at one time......most are not prepared....but since i am involved in camping and hiking so much it was no problem on my end....but i did realize how addicted i was to the internet and a good tv show.......had both fireplaces going...lit a few lanterns...got out the batteries for the radio..played a monopoly game or two with the wife an kids.....and even went across the street to my gym and worked out with a few friends in the dark.......
not bad..huh???
