“It started with someone asking me to make a baby blanket set. I was thrilled that someone thought enough to pay me for my work. I branched into jewelry because I sometimes can't find the color combos that I want. I also had trouble finding size 3 or 4 rings, so I started to make my own.
“I'm self taught. I used to paint and do pastel drawings until I became a mom and needed a creative outlet that was portable.
“I constantly have ideas swirling in my head. I have so many ideas I can't keep up. I also find it challenging to finish elaborate pieces as I get anxious to move on to the next idea.”
