July 4th Fireworks - Town Square

A quick reminder folks - there will be entertainment, food and all that neat stuff along with fireworks at dark in the Powder Springs Town square this Friday, July 4th. Everything begins at 6PM. There is a chance of rain, so bring an umbrella, but generally unless it's a washout they don't cancel (rain chances so far aren't that great). Come early to find parking, and respect the close-in neighborhoods by not parking in front of driveways and on personal property, please. It's also a good time to remind folks that personal use of fireworks is PROHIBITED in the city limits of Powder Springs due to the local drought conditions. Tickets and fines are issued for those who set off ANY type of firecracker or launching/booming fireworks. So, take part in any of the area FREE fireworks displays put on by Powder Springs and even the one in Marietta Square, instead.
