It always amazes me how people tend to rely so heavily on the law officials to constantly police their neighborhooods 24/7. This is where YOU live. Do something constructive to help your community. If it is a known fact that police are slow to respond, form a neighborhood watch committee or something similar. Don't expect the police to be at your beck and call at all hours of the day, because they obviously won't be. If you see a group of 8 black teen boys (or white teens or hispanic teens, for that matter), act as a community to combat your fears. Your racial profiling is making you become a prisoner in your own neighborhood. If it really concerned you that much, then act on it. Take back your neighborhood. Otherwise, put your home up for sale, take a loss on your precious property, and
