I agree that it's not effective for Cobb to have to dispatch the Powder Springs Police. I've called the police a couple of times when we've seen suspicious teen activity in our neighborhood. By the time we have to explain to the Cobb dispatcher what's going on, where we are since they never seem to have heard of Powder Springs, and then they call PSPD to repeat all of this AGAIN to them, then by the time they get here the teens are disbanded and gone. Then we're told they "have to catch them in the act". Well if it takes so long and so many transfers to get the PD out here, duh!
The whole thing needs to go back to the way it was. When you call 911 or the nonemergency police number it should be Powder Springs police that answer - period.
