We've wondered about this. Our neighborhood used to be very nice but in the last two years you'd swear you were in the worst part of New Orleans. Some people say that is the problem, that a lot of people came here to Powder Springs after Katrina so we actually did get a lot of nola people {the bad ones} here under special section 8 or other government help vouchers. It doesn't help that when you call 911 you have to talk to Cobb County police who then have to call the Powder Springs police to dispatch them. That's an extra step that takes extra time allowing these thug teens to get away. We are actually going to put our house up for sale once the market improves and move to the West Marietta area to get away from this. It's just got too bad to deal with anymore.
