I grew up in this area and Powder Springs was "the good side of town." Unfortunately, this is far from true anymore. Talking to parents throughout the Cobb community it seems to be agreed across the board that "Powder Springs and it's schools have gone down hill." This is terrible as I saw it as a place I wanted to raise my kids.
