It were great!! The event was held at the Museum of Apalachia in Norris, TN. Quite a place it is. Great exhibits, nice grounds and free roving critters as well. Was expecially amused at the roosters in training. Little fellers weren't quite big enough to know why they were crowing or really even how to do it, but they were attacking learing how-to with unbridaled enthusiasm.
The event itself was terrific. Way too much talent gathered together in one room. It's purely amazing what some of them fellers can do with horn.
I have always enjoyed the people of Tennessee that I have met. Nothing happened this trip to change that either.
One real curious thing happened on Friday night. Friend Ed and I went out to dinner at one of the nicer joints there and we were both asked for our ID when we ordered a drink before dinner. I think the last time that happened was sometime before my actual 21st birthday, which I have celebrated more than 40 anniversaries of since then.
I was a great time. Did get a chance to meet David Wright and Robert House as well. Genuine nice people, as well as being very tallented artists.
