So good to be back at th kabin as this has bin a tuff year for us all. Not many pelts swapped at RDV this season as th price a hay went to the stars fer me mules. Had ta re figger me trails and such. Got plenty a stock in th barn and can git it out ta yer on th next mule
Rumor got it that th Ol Lone Eagle dun went over. Not true as I speak. Took a couple a shots frim th bushwhackers but they be a jealues bunch with no sence a humor! HaHaHa. Swapped a few lies wit Big Smoke jist last week, worked a trap with Butch in Denver bout a moon er 2 ago, established our last born into a Univeristy of CA in August, kissed me bride and took a nap for a day or 3. On me feet now and back on the hunt so please come talk with me. The smell of Autum is in the air and I can't wait to git back to Rendezvous.
