Ho-lo-Lah! (Hello Friend) I am the Booshway for 2007 in the Sierra Muzzleloaders and would love to hear from fellow muzzleloaders. We have BIG plans for the upcoming year and would like to extend a very big welcome to any and all for this upcoming year. There have been big changes already and so many more to come. The Spring Rendezvous will be on our site in the Brownsville area, appox 700 acres of prime timber land, primitive and tin tipi camping areas. There is a stream running through the meadows, a separate Rifle, Pistol, H&K ranges, primitive Archery Range, along with separate Trade gun too! We will also have a Cannon and Mortar shoot, LOTS of kid's activities (bead making/baking from clay; corn husk dolls for boys and girls; seneca run to name a few!), raffle prizes, paper shoots, cast iron toss, dutch oven cook-off (if there are enough interested in the Dutch Oven Society Rules), dessert potluck at our Council fire for friendship, tall tales and social gathering. THERE ARE NO TRADER'S FEES, and I have changed the TRADER'S AREA, so feel free to bring in your iron horses to be close to your Trader's Area (please speak to me about this one). We are a FAMILY ORIENTED, friendly club and welcome pilgrims and seasoned mountain men alike. PLEASE contact me for any questions and I will gladly answer ALL emails. I would love to send out flyers to all interested. Please come join us for a great time. We also have a Primitive Rendezvous in September. Dates for the Spring Rendezvous are May 18-20, 2007 with early and late check in. Firewood available, but bring in your own water. Hooters available in all areas. Hope to hear from you soon!
