Hello Jim,
I too have suffered the onslaught of tin tipis. I RDV for the sole purpose of merchandising a few baubles and spangles, swapping a few good stories, and renewing friendships. In an atempt to preservive the spirit, I bring the finest product that skinners, shooters and all can have at a damn good price!
As to the fellow at the gate, last year at the October Shoot he got on me like ugly on a gorilla. For 5 days he chastised, made snide remarks, told some newbys not to shop at my tables. During that week, that gatekeeper turned off many in camp including the shooters that were there to support the club.
At this time, we need all the support that we can get. To withstand the gatekeeper is more that what can happen. We all have a choice here. If we quit RDV, Gatekeeper wins. Put him in a box, we all win.
As a fine merchant, story teller, campfire musician and friend I ask you to come join me in friendship and conversation. Primitive as I is, I have two ears in order to hear you twice.
