I checked his web site before deciding to subscribe and I decided to let others test the waters first.It would be hard to get a buckskinning magazine off the ground these days. He probably just bit off more than he could chew money wise. I sure hope black powder shooting doesn't meet the same slow death as the primitive rendezvous have. That would be a livin shame. If anything stands for Americana, the shoots/rendezvous have to be right out front. They are a blending of Appalachan and far western rugged individualism at its very best. Over the years I have known many an old timer that just can not be replaced. At my age, 73 in january, I can expect to soon be counted among the long gone but not forgotten ones myself.
