Please can I ask for some feedback from all users as to the general feeling regarding numerous entries from any one individual?
The exact points I wish to raise are:
1. As most people struggle to:
pay for, own, qualify and get fit just the one pony per season, is it really fair at this level to endorse several entries from one child knowing that they can realistically only ride one pony in one race?
2. How do such young children manage to qualify and get fit numerous ponies on entirely their own efforts?
3. What do you tell a 9 year old who knows they have no chance of winning but just wishes for the chance to take part that they cannot enter as there is already 10 entries and a reserve, when some of the 10 entries will clearly not be racing as they are entered twice in one day?
I do not wish to be negative; it is just that I feel that the fun of youngsters being able to participate in what is essentially meant to be "Pony" racing for children is loosing its appeal as a pleasurable kids sport to the adult world of pure competitiveness’?
Please feel free to comment on/ challenge my observations
