Big thank you to the Keeley crowd for stopping to try and help us on the M25 on the way home. We had got water in our fuel nightmare journey home got back about 12.30!!!
Very interesting day out. For those interested. The 138 race was won by a cob called Buster who was seriously fast, i think it won by about 5 lengths to last years Aintree winner Stambrook Marquesa who i think was a little surprised to get beat. Tapdance was one length behind in third and ran a blinder with Hector on top (he has only sat on her a few times). Goldsborough ran a gallant 4th with her 6lbs penalty. Covenham generation did not run as i understand it has a point to point engagement this week?
In the big race Strongbow was 4th, sorry didnt watch the race so dont know where you came Freddie but think you might have been 5th or 6th?
It was fun day very exciting for the kids to be riding up the Rowley Mile.
