In regards to your question, the PNT comes out on the Mount Baker Highway when coming off Hannegan Pass and down Ruth Creek. At that point you're about 40 miles east of Bellingham. It also crosses Highway 9 when you come down off Lyman Hill, Highway 99 after crossing Anderson Mountain and Highway 11 after crossing Blanchard Mountain.
All these crossings are within 20 miles of Bellingham.
In regards to your question about the Baker Lake Resort, I'm sure they would accept food drops if asked.
