Dr.D, How does the breast lift work exactly? What is done during surgery to achieve this? I was told surgeons ideally look for about 22cm when measured from the sternal notch to the nipple. I was measured at 26cm bilaterally, about 4 cm off. I probably have enough abdominal fat to make small D's. I am also a full C cup and wish to maintain the same size. Would more flap tissue [volume] provide the lift I would need to eliminate pitosis? How do you determine this? Is the breast tissue measured from the mastectomy? What is the average recovery time for nipple sparing DIEP before returning to work?
Thank you once again!!
