Can a slightly concave area on a GAP flap be filled with injected fat? I watched a video presentation by Dr. Sullivan on the FORCE network where he said that he sometimes injects twice the volume needed in order to get the desired amount required as some of the fat is reabsorbed. When the fat is reabsorbed, does it still leave a smooth appearance under the skin?
As this method requires anesthetic and a donor site of liposuction to recover from, is it worth it as far as success with the desired result goes? Or... is there a better method to fill out a slightly depressed area?
Thanks, Colleen
