Hi Dr D
After Dr Sullivan reviewed the photos of my fiance, he determined the bilateral stacked abdomen/lumbar free flap was the best option if she wanted a "c" cup. She is 5' tall, weighs about 118 lbs, not "skinny" by any means, and was a 34DD before her bilateral mast. What exactly does this surgery entail? I've never heard of it, nor is it listed on your website as a typical procedure. Does it involve muscle? What is the surgery and recovery time as compared to the DIEP which we thought she was a candidate for and what she wanted? I thought if the candidate didn't have enough belly fat for DIEP, an alternative would be the SGAP or IGAP. We were hoping not to involve any muscle because of the increased pain and recovery time involved. Please advise. Thank you so much for your time and sorry for the long post.
