just discovered although probably present along is pitting edema in medial lower portion of flap. Suspect others with pre existing LE have experienced this also. Have you any experience with using compression to treat on these flaps and with any specific products? I haven't found anybody locally with any experience. I suspect with disruption of lymphatics this may be not totally unexpected. I have noticed for some time a bit of size difference but remained ignorant of the fact it may be edema until realizing my fingers left an imprint. Since it is mild, is their any reason to try to treat it? Does leaving it alone make it become worse over time? I am unclear of statistics of LE complications without treatment and if treatment impacts any of those complications anyway. Thank you for your input. I will always be forever indebted to your practice for giving me beautiful results.
