Ah Poon & Yau Wai

I missed one episode (episode #24) last week and so many things happened: two people were pregnant, and Ah Poon & Yau Wai got together too. How did that happen?
Also, I've watched two episodes after the one I missed & noticed Ah Poon's mother was gone. What happened to Ah Poon's mother?
