Re: recommended readings
Posted by Judy Weiser, Grp Administrator I am puzzled by your posting and confused by what you mean "some of the notations do not work" -- what do you mean "do not work"?? both references you mentioned having "distress" with, are indeed listed properly on my site pages, in their appropriate/correct places -- see below: 1) The full and proper citation for "Martin&Spence, 1985) *IS* listed (in the readings recommended for Therapeutic Photography" at the list on the bottom of the page for "Compared with Other Fields" what do you mean that it "is not there"??? 2) Both of Doug Stewart's excellent 1979 articles *ARE* listed on the page for "Recommended Readings"... so again I must ask you to explain what you mean "also not there ... could you get the correct listing" -- those ARE the correct listings i.e., I myself have these articles -- those are indeed the correct citations... so, I don't know what it is about these listings that might be distressing you -- could you please explain? thanks, Judy (Weiser)

Re: recommended readings
Posted by Judy Weiser, Grp Administrator re: " I visited Univ of Pitt Library and pulled the Feminist Review and Vol 19 had nothing by Martin and Spence" and Catherine, I am holding those two articles in my hands right now, looking at their photocopied pages. The first (Martin & Spence) is a photocopy directly from the pages of "Feminist Review" (this shows on the page of text itself, at its bottom left). Those words are followed by "No. 29, March 1985". This article, in full, is right in front of my eyes at this moment. I do not see page numbers on these pages I hold, but the whole document ends with a photocopy of the actual Cover. The FULL title is: "New Portraits for Old: The Use of the Camera in Therapy" There's not much more I can say now, about this one, so I'll move on now to the other one you asked about: I am now looking at the Stewart article, "Photo Theapy Comes of Age" (1979, marked "1979a" on my own list, as there were two by him in that same year, both great). At the bottom of each page, is that journal's imprint that is, at the left side, the page number, followed by the words "Kansas Quarterly" and on the right-side pages, "Photo Therapy Comes of Age". Those pages are indeed 19-45. I don't know what to tell you, unless you have perhaps not searched for them correctly... The listing is NOT wrong; I have these in my hands. With Stewart, perhaps it might be that you spelled "PhotoTherapy" my way, instead of his way ("Photo-space-Therapy") -- but I have nothing else I can tell you... If you want to send me money for photocopying and postage, and your mailing address -- then I can send you photocopies, I suppose, but perhaps you first should search again yourself?? and by the way, "not being able to find it" does not necessarily equate to "some of the notations do not work" or that "it's not there" -- hopefully this will ease your distress a bit...
