Hello, I'm starting to integrate photography into my gestalt psychotherapy practice. I'm particularly interested to see if there are any other body-oriented therapists out there using photography? My website is at www.therapystudio.co.uk if you are interested.
I'm not 100% certain whether this relates closely enough to be of use but perhaps you might want to make contact with Susan Allnut, whose 1999 Thesis was titled "Learning the Body Voice: Body memory work with women".
It was from the Department of Educational Studies at McGill University,in Montreal, and if you cannot find it, or her, send me a message back-channel (privately) at: jweiser@phototherapy-centre.com and I will forward it on to her (I think the email address I have for her is current)...
She and I are both on the list of "collaborators" for the "Image and Identity Research Collective" and while its website is now a bit outdated (they are fixing this month I hear), you might also find some other resources there: http://iirc.mcgill.ca/
Enter the site and go to "collaborators" page perhaps...
Also, perhaps scan the "Who is Doing What, Where" page of the primary PhotoTherapy website and do a page search for key words -- there might be others there who I have just simply not remembered....
Also do a search in the "Search box" on this Discussion Group's main page -- that will bring up any messages that have that word in them or in their titles...
