I have just started a "Group" on FaceBook: PhotoTherapy, Therapeutic Photography, Photo Art Therapy, and VideoTherapy This group is for people interested in photography *as emotional communication*. This group is NOT about "photography as art" and it is NOT about photographic techniques. It is for all who are interested in how photographs communicate their meaning nonverbally, unconsciously, and differently for each viewer -- regardless of whatever artistic attributes these might also accidentally contain -- and how people can use this to help others (or themselves) by increasing awareness of the power of photographs to emotionally communicate beyond any capacity of words to convey... This Group is for discussing all aspects and techniques of "PhotoTherapy", "Therapeutic Photography", "Photo Art Therapy" and "VideoTherapy". These techniques are about the "why" of photography... and it can be found at the link below: http://www.facebook.com/inbox/readmessage.php?t=1046719520898#/group.php?gid=52420371571&ref=nf Please feel free to join and share -- though you have to be ON FaceBook to post there.. NOTE: this will NOT replace the discussion group here -- they are different, but will be complementary... Judy (Weiser)
