Posted by Judy Weiser, Administrator However, I will leave it here and answer it here But if you want to continue a dialogue with me only, please email me back-channel: First of all, to find out when and where upcoming workshops will be happening.... you can always check the "Upcoming Events" Section of the "Training and Education" page of my website; that page is at: You can always find there, all events I will be teaching that are open to "outsiders" (anything that is not a private contract just for specific staff of one agency, for example)... FOR EXAMPLE: I will be teaching a 2.5 day "Introduction to PhotoTherapy Techniques" workshop in Seattle, June 2-4 and the same kind, but a bit shorter (2 days only) in Montreal, June 15 & 16... full details about both (and a pdf longer description you can download) can be found on the above-mentioned webpage... Intro workshops are from usually less than 2.5 days long (sometimes three). Training workshops are about twice that length, because there is a LOT to learn and practice. I should also explain that I only teach workshops where I've been hired to come (on contract) and do not usually just decide to do one somewhere -- I'm far too busy with those contracts that have me teaching a lot, to plan anything additional on my own. It is also possible to contract with me for personalized training on-site at the PhotoTherapy Centre itself, for one therapist (or a small group of qualified therapists, doing this together) That's the 'bigger picture" of how training happens. So if you or a group or agency or association you know of, wants to hire me to come do an intro or training workshop somewhere, I'd be happy to discuss this (back-channel though)... And if you (or any other readers of this message!), you can always send me a direct email and give me your email address and a list of the places where you'd be wiling to go to, in order to get an intro workshop or a training one. I keep a "Workshop Notification List", and DO let people know when I'm coming to areas where they would be willing to attend. I cannot do this FOR you (because you didn't tell me where you were writing from!), but please feel free to do this "back-channel" and I'll be happy to add you to whatever geographical areas you'd like. thanks for your interest!!
