My husband has early stage "dementia". First dx. as Frontal-Temporal by one psychologist, to another testing result by another psychologist to Temporal-Parietal. His recent neurologist )MD), thinks he is gong to symptoms associated with Alz. and he is now going for a Pet Scan.
My husband would not, at this stage, be open to being "tested" as he still works (CPA-long time > 50 years and is now slowing down, finally, but he will not retire). The reason I am telling you all this, is because I may not be able to "try" this out on someone. He certainly has not told anyone, except his children! I do however belong to a support group for Alz. & Related Dementias. So perhaps I can share this with others. I am a RN (psyche), ATR, LSW and have my own Art Therapy Practice, of which I have only seen one senior in 3 years. I am open to reading and learning about your research.
Sincerely,
Rosalie
