3 announcements about PhotoTherapy-related events happening at the upcoming Conference of the American Art Therapy Association in Dallas next month:
1) The annual meeting of the "PhotoTherapy, Photo-Art-Therapy, and Therapeutic Photography" INTEREST GROUP" (same as a "Focus Group") -- will take place on Thursday Nov. 19 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. --
look for a sign in the lobby (and/or a handout during the opening session) that tells the location.
If you want to do some networking and meet others using these techniques, please gather in the Lobby at 5 pm -- and anyone wanting to stay longer than 6 pm is welcome to stick around as we'll keep going as long as people want to...
2) There are two PhotoTherapy events scheduled *ON* the Program:
-- a) Thursday (Nov 19) early morning:
A "PhotoTherapy master class" with me about these topics will happen VERY early the first day (7 a.m. until 7:50 a.m. -- and hey if I can get up that early to lead it, you-all can do the same to get there *if* you truly want to!
and
-- b) Friday afternoon (Nov 20): 2 pm until 2:50 pm --
*FORMAL PRESENTATION*:
"PhotoTherapy and Therapeutic Photography Techniques in Multicultural Art Therapy Practice and Research"
