PhotoTherapy and Therapeutic Photography techniques (and Judy Weiser) were the topic of an article in the June issue of Digital Photographer Magazine based in the U.K. ("PhotoTherapy: Reflecting on the Bigger Picture")
Judy also taught a full-day Workshop about these techniques in Mexico (Nov. 2008), for the Latin American Family Therapy Association (where she also gave a Plenary Presentation to the full Conference) -- and she also gave a Workshop for the Art Psychotherapy Institute of Querétaro.
The European Journal of Psychotherapy and Counselling is producing a "Special Issue" in March of articles arising from papers presented at the "International Conference on PhotoTherapy and Therapeutic Photography" last June in Finland -- and one of Judy's articles is currently being translated into Russian by a Social Psychologist there for a book about "visual methodologies".
Judy also accepted an invitation to author a Chapter about PhotoTherapy in a new Italian book about "Self-Portrait: Between Art and Therapy" (edited by Dr. Fabio Piccini, a medical psychoanalyst from Milan).
And she recently signed a contract with Hakjisa Publishers to produce a Korean translation of the classic text "PhotoTherapy Techniques: Exploring the Secrets of Personal Snapshots and Family Albums"
Soon, she hopes to rest.... ;-)
