Good intuitive sense Alison. That hypothesis can be tested by looking at U.S. national data. One could hypothesize that regions with heavier cloud cover (Northwest) or colder climes would have lower pictures per capita than sunnier, warmer areas. That data show insignificant systematic differences when comparing regional differences. Thanks for your interest!
