Thank you Jan for giving us now, a LOT more information -- and very valuable information, because you included a lot of detail, which I'm sure readers will appreciate...
As for my own individual interest, I am glad to see your attention to the ethics involved, as well as what seems to me to be VERY careful concern for the patients involved...
Regarding the "Abstract" you put on the page, I want to explain that while the Finland Conference is the first "International" conference on these topics in over 20 years -- that I do not understand it to be any kind of "annual" event (although it would make me very happy if this would happen!)
I also think you might want to correspond with Tarja Koffert in Finland, as I think she is doing work that is VERY similar to yours -- and you might enjoy discussing it all. I believe that she has already been sent a copy of your information but if you do not hear from her soon, let me know and I will try to connect you two directly...
Lastly, you mention two things that I would like to receive copies of, if possible:
1) "a shortened version of the Manual in English" -- would it be possible to receive a donation of this for the Library at the PhotoTherapy Centre? I would like to have this so that other people can learn from your work and ideas.
Also, and more "in general", if there are things such as the Manula, or articles, or other, that you have already written/published about this work, I would be very happy to add these references to the Recommended Readings page of the site... (and have a copy for our Library files here!)
2) you mention a Ph.D. that is about this work. Please note that there is a page on my main website for "Student Theses and Dissertations" (see link below) and so if you have a Thesis or Dissertation available (English is preferred, but Dutch would also be fine), I would appreciate also if you could do two things: First, if you would send me the proper "citation" for it I will add your listing to those on the page, and also, similar to my request above, i would really like if you would kindly donate a copy of your Dissertation to the Library at the Centre here.
There are over a hundred on the shelves here now (not all in English!) and people come to read through them and do their own research...
or, if not a "hard" copy of these things, then at least an electronic one that I can point them towards...
Best regards, and I give you my BIG thanks for taking the time to put all this information on our page here -- and I look forward to meeting you at the Conference.
