Posted by Judy Weiser, Administrator For example, when looking for "Photo Therapy" you should remember to also look for it as one word ("PhotoTherapy") as well as its related terms "Therapeutic Photography"... Search engines (like the "empty white box" one at the top and bottom of this page) assume the space between words is part of the phrase being searched for and so the one-word version will not be "found" at the same time... or else you might miss some of the key messages below that relate directly to what you are seeking, but whose authors might have used a slightly different "name" for what they wrote about... As a good example, there are messages below about "Video Therapy" -- that will not appear on Search results if you typed it instead as the more commonly used one-word version ("VideoTherapy"). And for those doing the non-therapy aspect of using video to explore self and others -- often named instead "Therapeutic Video" -- you might not find all the messages unless you also search for "Therapeutic Videography" (as it is more commonly named in other countries!)... so I just thought I'd post this "friendly reminder"!
