Did you perhaps use the title of THIS message to look for your own? Because I have put that title under all messages that Carmine wrote -- because I could not get HIM to do this himself and I did not want people to write him but he never answers because he does not get their message (because they send to his old (wrong) address)... Please look again but this time look for your own name -- I think your messages are still there... Please look again to the Discussion Group webpage -- and do this: On the main page, under my introduction paragraphs, you will find a white empty (blank) box that is a "Search" box. Type "Chiara" into that box and then click on the button that is beside it, the button named "Submit". You will be shown a list of every message you have sent to me... I just did this -- and discovered that in addition to your message today, there are also three messages you posted on March 1, and one that you posted a few days ago, on March 8. I am automatically notified whenever a new message is posted on this webpage and I do not remember seeing any notification of another message put there by you, since March 8 -- did you write another one since March 8??? If so then we must find out what happened.... because I did not remove your message! -- and supposedly I am the only one who can do this, so if a more recent message from you has disappeared, then let me know and I will investigate with the hosting company... However, this also gives me the opportunity to explain to you that messages on this Group page are for everyone to read, and should be of interest to all who come read this page -- and so if our correspondence is really only for the two of us (and not of educational interest to others), then it might be better for us to correspond directly between only the two of us (this is called "back-channel") My private email address is on every message I post, just as yours is! -- but here it is again: Please write to me directly at my personal email address if your correspondence is only to me, rather than to all people who read this webpage. Thanks for expressing your concern! If it turns out that you simply looked in the wrong place on the main page, then please do not be embarrassed -- it can be difficult to find things in the middle of all the other messages... BUT: if it turns out that there was a message you posted that DID get removed, I need to know this immediately so I thank you for alerting me. Please write me directly (to my own email address) if you discover that a message you put on this group did truly disappear.... I am a very very busy person and do not always have time to respond to messages immediately. This does not mean that I am not interested -- it only means that I am unable to write answers to all people who email me each day and sometimes this has to wait for the next week...
