Just to let everyone know that my thesis has just been completed and is now available at Concordia University and at the PhotoTherapy Center archive with Judy Weiser. The title of the thesis is "Expanding the Frame: Self-Portrait Photography as Applied to Drama Therapy Practice" and explores the relationship between Drama Therapy and photographic based therapies such as Photo Therapy, Therapeutic Photography, and Photodrama. These photographic based therapies are compared to several key Drama Therapy theories such as Jones' 9 core processes, Landy's role method/theory, as well as the methodology of self-revelatory performance. This paper serves to inform the Drama Therapist about how self-portrait photographic techniques may work in conjunction with a Drama Therapy theoretical orientation.
