rising damp

I'm a huge L. Rossitor fan from watching all the Reggie Perrin shows years and years ago. Also saw him on stage in a show called ' Make or Break' I think. I've been told by many that Rising Damp is the greatest comedy ever produced.
The problem is my mum has just been diagnosed as terminally ill and I've been looking around everywhere on the internet and can not find any copies of Rising Damp which could be played on a American television.
My goal is to supply my mother with as much comedy entertainment as possable the last few months of her life.
Any info at all would be appreciated.
