Hi
Midnight is doing good for the most part, gaining weight, eating and drinking from her bottle. We finally have a pic of her. I am having problems with groups on yahoo so I have to make up another name to get email from the groups. She is laying here with me now in the chair. Anyone can reach me at pooh64@tampabay.rr.com. If you would like to see the pic I can send it to you. I will check it out the plans. I really need to get her in something, I think if she starts walking she will get the use of her hind legs again. She still is having problems breathing when she moves around. It is like she breathes heavier. Her belly is distended too. It has been since the accident. I think if her belly was not big she could stand on at least one of her hind legs. She will bring both legs up to her body if you touch them, she cannot sit up all that great. Her one leg is just limp when she lays and the foot part looks like it is going in a little. She moves her tail for us now. From what she looked like when it happened she has made a 100% improvement. After it happened you could pinch her little feet really hard and barely get movement and then what happen with the other cat attacking her left leg and foot biting through the tendon. That has totally healed. We will be taking her to the vet in a few weeks hopefully she will be able to give us some type of answer. Hopefully she will notice a difference in her since she thought we should have put her to sleep. She gave us less than a 50/50 chance of surviving from dehydration. She weighed 13 ounces when we took her in at 2 months old and a few days after that she weighed 15 ounces. She feels like she weighs a couple of pounds now. It feels like she weighs more than her sister when you hold them together. She will be 4 months on July 30th.
Hope this helps
