Hello all...just an update on Woody...we did some research and found that there's no danger integrating an fiv+ kitty into your clan so long as you get the kitty spayed/neutered. The behaviors that spred the disease are assoviated with procreation and the extreme non-play fighting that go with it. This is the best decision we ever made--he's just a wonderful boy and fits in with our family like he was meant to be with us--which clearly he was! With normal vet visits an fiv+ kitty can live a long and happy life--as long as a non-fiv kitty in most cases. Hope our story can help others in a similar situation as we were in!
