My name is Beth Greer and my husband and I live in Arkansas. We are animal lovers!!! We have a 9 year old cat named Baxter, 7 year old boarder collie named Dooley, a three year old cat named Birdie, a 2 year old Australian Shepherd named Chassie and also an 7 week old puppy of Chassie's we lovingly named Wobbles.
Wobbles along with his 10 other littermates was born on Christmas eve and we have been blessed to have him as part of our family ever since. As his name implies, Wobbles...well, he wobbles. He was born with a neurological problem that challenges his abilities to walk like a normal dog. The vet has told my husband and myself that he can live a very normal and happy life...but he will require a special home. We were worried that wobbles would never be able to walk...but throughout the weeks he has steadily improved. He tends to walk sideways and he falls to his left side quite a bit.
I am 35 weeks pregnant with our first child. This is traditionally a very emotional time in a woman's life but dealing with the disabilities of Wobbles has made this time in my life especially trying! My husband and I love this dog and we are trying to find a home where he will be loved and cared for. At this time in our lives we can just not take on another addition to our family. On top of our four pets at home we also run a cattle farm where we raise 30 head of cattle...these animals have over the years also become a huge part of our family!
What is most heart breaking about this situation to me is...my husband and I dearly LOVE this puppy! The only way we would be able to give him away is if we know that he would be going to a home that would love him as we do!
I have reviewed your website and discovered the many loving families with pets like Wobbles. If you can help us find a loving home for our puppy it would be very much a blessing to us.
