My 98 pound brindle 4 year old boxer, got hurt he is a rowdy guy anyway his front left leg was bent at the paw and he seemed OK but 45 mints later he was down.
We rushed him to the emergency vet and were told he may have a spinal cord injury, his x-rays seemed fine. They told us it could cost 5 grand to take him to a nero doctor, we just do not have that kind of money. So we had over a grand worth of treatments done after transporting him ourselfs to our regular vet. After leaving him there four days for steroid treatments we were told there is nothing else they can do. The problem is I do not know if I should try to get him in a chair and what kind of chair should it be? His left front and back leg are out but I can get him to stand with some help and he will eat and drink for me . He is also very alert so I know it is not brain related. Please share your story I have hope that he will walk again.
PS anyone know anything about Nerve palsy paralysis ? I feel like from what I have read it could be his problem.
