I am interested in adopting a small (under 20 lbs)deaf dog. We have 3 cats and a 5 lb 3 1/2 yo poodle. We live in NYC 2 blocks from a dog run. Someone is home during the day. We do not believe in crate training. We have excellent vet references, groomer references, personal references, dog trainer (who has experience working with deaf dogs) references. I am a teacher of the Deaf and fluent in ASL. Please contact me if you know of any small deaf dogs. We are willing to pay a reasonable adoption fee and come to meet/ pick-up our new family member!
