Posted by megan on 8/16/2006, 4:28 pm He is healthy, vibrant, and robust in every other way...but I can't have him unable to walk and a handheld harness is not possible due to his size/weight. A cart would really help. Thanks. I am willing to pay for it but cant come up with 500 right now. I will also pay for shipping. Hoiping for something free-300 doesent matter how used or worm it is as long as it works. I would be willing to return it if needed once he passes away which may be a few months or a few years.

I have a 14 year old healthy, robust, lab retriever who has severe osteo-arthrits in his hind legs. He copes with a dietary suplement (missing link) and a k-9 asprin but his back legs are becoming worse and buckle under his massive weight. His front legs are strong and healthy. He weighed about 120lbs at last vet visit but has lost some weight...most in his hind end...sence then. I need a dog cart for him or else he will have to be put to sleep. His situation is getting urgent and I don't have the 500-900 dollars most cart makers are asking for carts for dogs his size.
