I have a 70 lb. 13 yr old dalmation/shepherd mix dog that I've had since he was a puppy from a shelter. We live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. He now has back leg problems that have progressed fairly quickly from some difficulty on the stairs to now not being able to get up when lying down. He has begun to urinate in the apartment because he is afraid of the stairs. I have tried back leg harnesses to try to get him down the stairs (he doesn't like them), absorbent floor pads that he often doesn't use and I am continually mopping after accidents. Has anyone used dog diapers? What are your experiences? Any side effects, such as rashes? Any other options that have worked for you? Thanks in advance! - Mireille
