And besides, there are only like five or so people who will read this. Feel free to begin hurling insults, as is customary.

I'm wondering if folks are gonna show up to this Under The Covers thing if no one knows what's going down. It really is going to be an incredible couple of shows. Not that any one would show up anyway, but just in case, I think it might be prudent to get the word out a bit. I understand Gabriel's desire for secrecy and obfuscation...but I do think more people might show up to these shows if they knew The Stooges would be playing on Thurs. the 12th, The Mummies and Guided by Voices on the Fri. the 13th, and Jawbreaker and Elvis Costello and the Attractions on the 14th.... not to mention the next weekend, which hosts such giants as the Talking Heads, Flipper, and the Cramps. And all of these bands can be seen at your local Pizza Works. Not too shabby, eh?
