Posted by Robert When I was still living in Peoria and attended shows quite frequently, and saw the same bands perform every other week, slowing working on their craft. It can be quite involving—if you are a friend of the band—but if you’re an outsider one’s interest would be quite limited, or at least not enough to attend any given group’s performances for years on end. Also, the number of men in Peoria severally outnumber the girls, or at least within the ‘scene’, and while shows are booked for musical performances they are also social outings as well, and I remember quite a few sausage fests. Get women on your side, and the world will be yours.
