Perhaps I missed out on Punk Rock Integrity 101, and this is not specifically directed toward either yours or Melvin’s statement, but I don’t see any problem in making a profit off ones work, even if some commercial compromise is involved. I guess some people believe that, to be real ‘punk rock’, you have to live in poverty and not relish any of the rewards for your hard work. And for the record, PIL was awesome.
