Posted by Suit & Tie Guy especially as those jackasses now have a ####ing convention to train the god squad how to use synthesisers to cash in on this new "emo christian hardcore electroclash" scene. i'm not joking. they have a gathering in Waco where they convince a bunch of industry guys to send their clinic specialists out to talk about gear, and then have the three or four token indie god squadders who know what a lowpass filter is to help them communicate how they can use these "new tools" in the crossploitation music scene. that abortion happened when they were all up in that emo folk shit, and then when the Postal Service (themselves little more than a Scenic Square tribute act) got big then they switched gears and turned into an "electronic rock" band. i'm not kidding, guys. i can't make this shit up. Link: are you emo christian harcore indie and want in on this synth thing?

but quite frankly David Crowder can go to hell.
why do i think it's a load of shit? the David Crowder Band covered "Deliver Me" and in an interview he referred to it as a Sarah Brightman song, and thought Jon Marsh was just some dude who wrote it for her (not realising that Jon Marsh had a bad-mother####er new wave/synthpop band called The Beloved)! then of course he needed to make it religious and added a few "Oh Jesus"es to the end of it.
(as a disclaimer, Ronnie Martin of Joy Electric doesn't have anything to do with beepcon i believe. he's pretty cool actually, and seems to make christian synthpop because he likes Jesus and synths.)
