Try the Roland TR-909

I would advise ditching the drummer idea and just using a distorted 4/4 kick drum beat from a drum machine for all your songs. Sounds great, you can dance to it, and even though a thousand other bands are doing it you will be the very first one to pioneer the style in Peoria. Seriously, screw getting yourself a drummer. Even the ones that can keep a beat don't know how to contribute your type of music without making it sound like ass. Trust machines. They are your friends. I have now saved you many years of grief.
