It's no secret that these old BBS formats are steadily on the way out. The march of technology continues, and new trends come and go. Regardless of whether you jumped head first into the Myspace craze for its powerful networking capability and slick format... or you resisted its junior high narcissism and overall ridiculousness ...there's no denying that almost everyone involved in independent music these days seems to be doing it. A couple of fellows from the area have put together a "PEORIA SHOWS" myspace account that you should check out. They're listing all the shows in the area, linking up all the bands, and facilitating something that could turn out to be pretty cool. So, even though they aren't affiliated with this messageboard, which is also not affiliated with Tom's original Peoria Shows page, you should check it out and add them to your "friends" if you haven't already. www.myspace.com/peoriashows
