Once again I disagree with TheEsk on Administration as I have seen too many firms never reemerge.
I think a prospective buyer (MSP or other) using the threat of administration to try to leverage R&MF, 777 into taking pennies on the pound or substantially renegotiating terms to reduce interest burden would fall under the heading ‘good business’.
However, 777 cannot afford to take a loss without risking their whole house of cards and R&MF played hardball previously so there are no guarantees such an approach will work.
That might leave MSP faced with the choice of losing their £ or taking on the risk of ownership, trying to secure more investment and better lenders to buy out the current shower.
Messy. High risk. An awful lot has to go right for us to emerge in even semi-decent shape.
