It rarely works out.
But Moyes did leave a legacy at Everton. The Peoples Club … it came from Moyes ???
I feel he left us at the right time. He left us in a good place to move on and Bobby Brown Shoes capitalised (and to a certain extent) improved that. But 12 months later it started to turn sour.
Have we ever been the same since he left ?
We have an awful lot of ground to catch up where Moyes left off. However in saying that I believe that Dyche is the right fit and should help us start to become a “top 10 club again”.
I confess to being a Dyche fan and am glad nobody at the club was in a position to get rid of him when we were on that dreadful run. Managers need time. Through circumstances he has been given that. Thankfully.
The big concern is obviously off the park. The ownership issues are absolutely massive and will dictate which direction the club will go for at least the nxt generation.
For the time being then…. In Dyche we trust
Scot
West Ham are effectively only 5 points ahead of us, and with no European football next year.
Moyes was definitely right for Everton when he was here first time, but what makes him so appealing over Dyche right now?
One thing is for certain: Dyche didn't take a knife to our most recent gunfight...
