Add Doucoure to that list too.
It’s not so much a ‘can’t wait to see the back of them’ type of thing for me, it’s more that if they’re no longer there and we’ve replaced them with better footballers, then we’re heading in the right direction. To rely quite heavily on that list again next season means we’ll probably once again be struggling.
I’d have no problem with Gomes remaining on lower wages, as a squad player, but I’m with you on the rest, and would hope we’d get big bucks for Onana, as he would be the one that hopefully attracted big money offers, though that would be based more on the prevailing attitude the football world has to him as opposed to anything he’s achieved on the pitch for us.
So many variables ahead of us this summer that it’s incredibly hard to predict anything that might happen on the pitch.
